Anyone else having an issue where after an episode of a television episode from plex, the chrome cast with googletv will crash and do a full restart? It causes my Visio TV to also go crazy and reboot 25% of the time as well.

Yes. I can watch one video but the second one will be 50% horizontally stretched and crash the system forcing a GoogleTV reboot.
No issues with Plex on our CCWGTV. Have you checked available storage @ device settings? If its low, that could cause apps to kick back to home screen when cache is full. I have ours connected to a USB-C hub with a 32 GB MicroSD set as expended internal storage. By offloading some of the apps to the MicroSD, I'm able to maintain at least 1.3 GB of native storage available. Haven't had any problems since setting it up this way.
Not that particular one, but I do find Plex to be pretty crashy on my ChromeCast with Google TV.
Yes exact same issue. Can't let videos autoplay otherwise it crashes.
Same issue here with recorded videos.
First episode will play just fine, second one zooms in and when I restart video, whole chromecast with Google tv crashes and reboots.
Anybody ever solve this issue? Mine has started doing it recently, I thought it might have been caused by a software update, but I haven't updated in a while
I just started having this issue this week. My Chromecast ends up restarting after every single video I watch once I exit out of the zoomed in video
I'm getting the same thing with mine too, I uninstalled and reinstalled and still having the same problem
