I am looking to buy an android device. I dont care about streaming 4k content or HRD, Dolby etc. But the things I am looking for is to be able to use VPN for my streaming services and having a smooth experience (not having to deal with bugs). Also I want to choose a device which does not have limited features due to my region (I fear Chromecast might have that issue).
Any advice would be helpful or experiences of using those devices in Asia.
- The Mi Box S is using the now old S905X SoC while the CCWGTV is using the S905D3 which is a newer SoC.
- The Mi Box has an USB 2.0 port while you need to buy a hub for the CC though with Mi Box you'll also going to need one if you want to use ethernet and to connect other devices.
