I'm in UK too, what would be brilliant is if Freeview play could be unpegged from coaxial/smart TV. OTA TV can come from homerun/network, usb tuners and apps. Even if if all Freeview play did was OD, it would reduce app hopping and the number of watch list.
Can you elaborate a little? If you mean on the Google TV if I'm not wrong that's only for the USA and youtube TV only they will make available to all in the future ....
I use the tvirl app with a playlist I made for watching local (Argentinian) news.
It let's you add multiple playlists and epg files. If you have a TCL/RCA smart tv you can also see the channels in the "Streaming Channels" input.
Will be in the future I saw somewhere someone mentioned it, so then the tv head end developer will have to add it once ready .
