After 4 years with the Mi Box, Xiaomi finally managed to fix all issues I had with this device. Amazing, finally love it!
Note: Make sure to reset it as I was getting some weird issues when switching resolution in Plex, screen would go dark for a long period of time.
Optical SPDIF works great with the manual setting and pass-through only AC3 and DTC for my old receiver. No remote freezing anymore, the device seems to handle everything well. Wow, 4 years Xiaomi!!!
The update fixed playback issue after the device is woken up from standby mode

Article says the Mi Box 3 will never see android 10. Anyone know why? Just curious.
Received this update (PI.3575) on Mexico, seems everything is fine and the wakeup playback bug is fixed, I think this update is legit good.
installed without issue and everything appears to be working great.
only negative for me is having to have the recommended/suggestions on the home screen. I'd avoided updating the android tv home app but this update did it for me.

I don’t know if that’s a coincidence, but Prime Video now appears on Play Store. It’s possible to install or update app from there.
My Android homescreen reverted back to the pre-googletv version after the update. Strange
I'm so excited for new bugs hidden in the new update.
