Europeans, don't buy Mi Box S anymore: Many new, better Certified Android TV devices are on Amazon now (see my list)

As an European I wanted to share my list of certified Android TV devices with both Netflix and Amazon Prime (4K) that can be found on Amazon (UK, DE, FR, IT, ES, etc).

Most are around €70 / €80 and offer better specs than a Mi Box S. Links go to a website that lists most European Amazon websites for a same product. (The links are not affiliates BTW).

All offer 2GB of RAM, 8GB of Storage, Android TV 10, Netflix and Prime Video certifications.

This is only the devices I found from Amazon. Of course there are other devices from other websites that are also certified (ATV, Netflix, Prime).

All of these devices cost at least 50% more than MiBox S (bought mine a little less than 50€ in France), so it's not mindblowing

In Spain MiBox S is always around 50-60€ at most. So I don't get this list.

Mecool: do not buy the km1 (saw it mentioned in the comments) it's not netflix certified and it's buggier than mibox. Hopefully the KM2 is better but I'd wait for reviews.

I used Mi Box S for over 2 years and I recently couldn't take it anymore. Frequent freezes, random bugs here and there, unusable speeds with VPN on. I resold my Mi Box S for 40 euros (yup, because new are around 70 on Amazon) and bought a brand new Chromecast with Android TV from Darty (a big electronics store chain in France) for 70 euros. Very noticeable difference in performance and much better speeds with VPN (I've been blaming NordVPN all this time). Xiaomi will have to refresh their box if they still want their piece of the streaming pie.

2 gigs of ram sounds light to me. I just upgraded to a mecool km6 from a mi box s for that reason, since I got lag just for using mx-player.

Just a reminder, my list is only Android TV device (with Netflix and Prime) available on AMAZON.

Why ?

People in Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, and many other European countries can't order from the online Google Store for example.

People in Sweden can order from Amazon.de and be delivered without any issue.
Same for people in Belgium from Amazon.fr , etc
