I've noticed that Google TV now has an 'Ad' plastered on the homescreen for 'DAZN' in the UK.
Is there any way to disable these 'Ad' labeled showcase items? I can allow the non-labeled 'ads' for shows, since I find those useful when finding something to watch, but not for apps which I'll never use and being the main thing I see when using my TV.
google is an ad company and they're always going to eventually plaster anything nice they make with ads, doesn't matter how much money you paid for the TV
There is not much you can do about it besides installing a different launcher. HALauncher seems to be liked by people.
you can look into making a pi hole for you home network however that thing is a pain to setup and that's if it works just look up "pi hole" on google
Try uninstalling the latest update
What I wonder is, is there any way to dismiss the ads and, at the very least, teach Google that there are some products they are punting at you that you don't want, so that at least you have ads more geared towards your interests
