Very useful:

  • Anality (speed test)
  • Send Files to TV (you need it to install it on your phone as well)
  • X-plore File Manager (local &cloud file explorer)

If you dislike the update that brings ads to the home screen:

  • HALauncher
  • Remote ADB Shell (install on your android phone to disable google launcher and keep HALauncher as the default one)

If you want to watch your movies/series from your own collection:

  • Jellyfin or Plex
  • Kodi (you also can watch from online sources if you find the right addons)

If you care about retro gaming:

  • DIG Emulator (that's on the advanced side)

If you care about cloud gaming:

  • GeForce NOW (cloud gaming service from Nvidia)
  • Stadia (cloud gaming service from Google. You still need to sideload the app...)
  • Edge (cloud gaming service from Nvidia Microsoft. Sideload the app to play xbox game pass from the cloud using xbox.com/play)

Analiti is a good speed test app. Just be careful not to try and isntall a bunch of junk on it, not a lot of space and not much is necessary. Are you going to just be streaming or do you have some local content you want to play?

Best thing is going to 4pda forum and updating your firmware. Second best thing, is using ADB and deleting all the bloatware and useless apps, it makes the tv much faster.
