What is the wattage needed to power a chromecast with google tv and a usb hub?

The Chromecast with Google TV comes with a 5V 1.5A adapter, which is 7.5W. The hub would depend on the specific hub you buy. You can check the specs of the hubs you are interested in.

I use an 86w brick with no problem, you could get by with less but depends on your devices.

Depends on the hub and what's plugged into it. I think the venmont hub is known for working with the CCwGTV included power brick. I have an ethernet only hub that works just fine with the CCwGTV included power brick.

The one I bought doesn’t advertise the wattage but it’s inexpensive and it works. The only issue I’ve had is that it doesn’t seem to have enough power if you were ever to restart the google tv through the menu. It will tell you there’s not enough power and it will have to be disconnected and connected to work. I can share the link if you want it.
