I believe there's a setting in the tv somewhere that says 'broadcast this tv' or 'make this tv available for casting' or something like that. If you turn that off it shouldn't come up as an option to connect to.
Just let them connect and, enjoy the show.
My upstairs neighbors accidentally do that often - theyre trying to connect something (likely bluetooth?) And are prob just clicking the top available option instead of what they want.
