The remote got a new update too 24.7
Mesh network and wifi improvements? Hopefully this fixes the constant dropouts!
Hope this Bluetooth stutter fix is for real this time! Great news, now they just have to release Android 11 and include official Stadia support.
TV (CEC) still says "the power button on your Google TV remote will control power for your device and your connected TV."
How do you do only TV over CEC?
Mine has been crashing in Plex quite a bit (will play an episode of a TV show, move to next, it locks up and resets), and also has weird issues with Pluto not pulling guide data in some situations. Sigh.
did not fix the bluetooth issue at least not in Youtube or Plex.
Tested with Epos Adapt 660
where is the advanced function of HDMI-CEC located? I do not find it.
Oh good. I have an issue where if I switch source from something to the Chromecast it often has crackling sound that's only fixed when I switch source and return back to the Chromecast again.
Hopefully this fixes that issue!
EDIT: It does not. Issue must be with my Philips TV.
Any chance there is a Match Frame Rate setting?
Can someone confirm if there's automatic refresh rate now in the settings?
Good update. No more HDMI handshake/black screen issue with my AVR and projector setup.
Finally, new update allows for enabling SDR only!
Recently purchased, lip sync is a big issue. Only “fix” is to turn off surround sound which isn’t an acceptable fix. Any real solutions? If not, it’s going back to the store. Thanks
Any noticeable changes in settings? Seems like there would be more options for refresh rates and hdr settings.
Also wonder if Disney+ has Dolby vision?
Assume this makes no difference for the recently confirmed Chromecast group issues?
Weird. My (European) Android TV OS build says QTS2.200918.033.7115981 and my security patch month is still on December 2020.
And still no HDR to SDR conversion option. Even Mibox S had this feature since forever.
All this and still not possible to play 4K HDR content on non HDR TV's.
Is this an update to all Android TV devices or just the Chromecast?
I'm so exciting!!
any fix for UI scale. im tired of switching to panorama everytime turn on tv. stupid 16:9 should be enough but no. even the dam mibox have that option to set ui scale.
My usb C ethernet adapter seems to have stopped working after updating. Usb stick in the same adapter still works though. Anyone else?
After rebooting it worked finally.
Guys can I get this on my Sony android tv ?
Movie Cover arts keep disappearing on my library movies, they need to address this too.
Still no Android 11, huh? Seems odd Google put it on the ADT-3 way back in September, but hasn't done it yet for their only commercial 1st party AndroidTV device.
