I have a sony android tv. I have locast but it's not able to integrate to live channels.

Question

Is there an app that can use remote functionality? I tried stremium and that's nice, but I would like an app that can change channels and even use the number pad. For example, press 7 on the number pad would change the channel to abc. This is more to make it easier for my parents.

Live channels on sony , you can use the pad to enter the number , here try this app it has channels and works with live channels only , if you have a channel that is free and available let me know I can add it if I can get the url livechannels

Channels DVR, but you'll need to install the Channels server on a compatible device. There's also a fee to use it @ $8/month or $80/year. Works great though and supports TVE channels too from various channel providers.
