I’ve not been affected but I’m glad it’s getting fixed. I just hope they don’t introduce new bugs and glitches that DO affect me.
I’m glad they are fixing it! Been a PITA for a while. I even created an speaker group called “No TVs” to exclude the two CCWGTVs in order to have smooth playback.

I have an issue where certain speaker groups cause a popping and crackling sound in the music that is really annoying. Is this from the same bug? Rarely I'll get a bug where the music is slowed down. Really bizarre
That dongle has messed up my voice commands for video too. I used to tell the regular Chromecast to skip forward 2 minutes and there it went. Every time I try it here, it fails. Either it skips forward a random amount or asks some ridiculous question like "Did you want to do that on Chromecast TV or on Chromecast TV?"
Glad at least the audio fix is coming for groups.
