I started up my projector that has android tv installed onto it. Then I noticed it was updated to google tv. A couple hours later, I opened up my projector and it’s back to android tv. Anyone know what’s up??

It's not Google TV but the new Android TV Home Screen UI, it's still rolling out very, very slowing to the entire planet, though it's already available in the US, UK, Germany, among others.
If you use a VPN set to any of the aforementioned countries, it activates automatically, provided you have updated the Android TV Home and Android TV Core Services apps in your device.
Your vpn was on
