Chromecast with Google TV randomly changes volume without user interaction.

For the past week, after a factory reset, I’ve been getting random prompts on my screen saying “Use a remote to adjust the volume. See Chromecast settings on this TV for more options.” on certain apps even when I’m not touching the remote. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled the YouTube, Hulu, and HBO Max apps I’ve experienced this issue with. I’ve factory reset the remote and reinstalled the remote firmware. Surround sound is turned off and the Chromecast is connected directly to the TV and set to allow the remote to control the tv volume. As an experiment, when I’ve set the Chromecast to allow the remote to control its own volume and its set to 100 volume instead of that prompt the volume bar drops to 50% randomly.

I think I'm having the same problem, my TV doesn't support HDMI-CEC so that option is turned OFF, which means the remote control only controls the volume of the device, and when I open YouTube or Emby, the volume drops to 50% randomly as well, I thought I was the only one having this problem and it seems to be global, let's see if more users chime in about this.

I’m surprised more people aren’t experiencing this issue.

Get a third-party Bluetooth remote, I’m sure it will fix it. 🤣

I am having a similar problem and it drives me bonkers. The volume level just randomly drops and I have to keep raising it. This happens both with Chromecast apps and happens when I am casting from a device.
