Did anybody have luck with that in recent days? I know it was a thing sometime last year but they took it off silently and theres no option for that now(dont understand why though). It was possible via installing the Chromecast beta app on the tv. They used to advertise it would be possible soon but in the tech community soon can mean a lot of things hahah.
Id very very much would love to be able to have my tv added to speaker group as i love the surround around my house when playing some tunes.

"Chromecast Built in" is a Chromecast target app that runs in top of Android TV. Guess what? It did have multiroom capability for a hot minute, about two years ago. Then they shut it back off again a few days later in the next update. Never said why, never even mentioned it in the documentation.
Our household is moving away from the Google ecosystem for reasons like this. Their products keep getting worse not better, they frequently change or eliminate useful features without giving the end user a choice, and they don't hear or respond to consumer feedback. Classic monopolistic corporate behavior.
