Yes there is - just go to the notification centre, then select connect. Your TV should be listed there if you have an active wifi connection to the same network as the TV. Then press WIN+P (I think) and select extend or whichever option you want. Hope this works.
It has Chromecast built-in have you tried that instead of Miracast?
Use Chrome go to the customize and control menu then to Cast. All the supported Chromecast devices should be there, click on sources and select cast Desktop and then pick the device you want to cast to.
