I'm struggling to connect to the network in my place of work, you see when we connect to the WiFi in the building we need to enter in a password on a browser if you know what I mean, but we can't get to that on the TV that was bought. Any advice?

Do you have a browser installed? Find out what the default gateway is (on your computer or phone) then navigate to that in your broswer on your TV. Should get you yo the captive portal.
