1. It does allow series recording based on time slot. Allowing series recording (easily) by EPG data would require all providers using a uniform epg source that identifies series / episode number as well as identifying first run episodes. This is far from what you see with existing providers. I assume this would cause problems where it would work for one provider and not another and end users would end up blaming the hardware.. Although not impossible to mitigate these differences it would probably require a full rework of the entire scheduled recording system, which would be no easy task..

2. You can record one stream while watching another using m3u or XC providers assuming your provider allows multiple connections.

3. "Amazon" does not sell it with a magnetic phone adaptor, some sellers may choose to do so though.. Formuler devices are sold by resellers, as they do not do direct to end user sales.. as the suggested the price points for all of the devices are set out by formuler, you will see some sellers maintaining the MSRP but throwing in additional value-added items.

I have not used TVmate for recording, to me at least TV mate is just a clone of Android TVs native live channels app, I may have a biased opinion here but I am far more fond of the mytvonline 2 interface.. furthermore because mytvonline 2 was created by the hardware manufacturer, it allows such thing as putting your device in standby, and having it wake up when recording are to take place automatically. Overall I find the interface of mytvonline much easier to move to from something like a satellite or cable box.. the beauty is you can still install other IPTV clients if you choose to do so.

Hello, it does allow you to watch one and record different channel. You can schedule recording so yes. You can record as much as your external USB drive capacity. It's Amazon reseller that sells with gadgets not Amazon. Lots of resellers sells with gimmicks, never understand that at all.
