Mi Box S - Audio out of sync / delayed

Hello,

Recently I've purchased Mi Box S with Android TV 9. It works great but I have one issues that is extremely annoying - out of sync audio.

My Mi Box is connected via HDMI to TV and the TV is connected via optical cable to my sound system. There is +/- 100ms of delay of audio as I can see lip sync issue.

Previously I've used Chromecast with the same TV and there was no issue with audio.

Any idea how to fix it?

Probably not a Mi Box issue and likely has more to do with your TV and/or sound system.

First, optical doesn't have any type of lip sync correction so if you can connect your TV to your audio system via HDMI then it'll like fix the issue. If an HDMI connection to the audio system is out of the question then you probably need to look for an A/V sync or delay setting on the TV or audio system that you can adjust.
