Help - Hulu; black image but sound still works.

I set my parents up with a chromecast with google tv and Hulu live while visiting over the weekend.

Today my mom is having the issue described in title. Live TV works fine, only normal Hulu shows are doing this.
I have had my GTV since day 1 without a single issue, so im not sure where to start.

Looking for simple ideas i can tell her to try.

This happens for me with Stan (Australia) sometimes. A full restart fixes the issue, if it ever happens (which isn't often).

Having the same issue.

What I did that fixed it: start the video, let it run for 10 seconds, pause, rewind so that the thumbnails start showing - then start.
