I am a consumer of RCN and can only receive their IPTV service at my location. I have a device I received from them that runs on AndroidOS, but has a TiVo IPTV interface linked to RCN. If I have another android TiVO IPTV device is it possible to install the RCN app/software on it so I dont need to pay an equipment rental fee for additional boxes, just the addl service content? Not certain if anyone is familiar with cablecos and their new IPTV based offerings.

I believe the services are tied to the MAC address of the device. So it may not work on another device as it would have a different mac address.
