What Legitimate Android TV Devices have an ethernet port and work with Netflix, Disney Plus etc?

by TylerDurdenK

My chromecast with Google TV is not cutting it with certain high bitrate 4k stuff, so I am looking for something with a gigabit ethernet port. Can you help?

Take a look at this list, not all of them are Netflix certified, you can also use an ethernet adapter with the CC available at the Google Store:

Over Wifi m my chromecast gets over 150Mbps and plays all my 4k/DoVi/remux. Haven't tried ethernet adapter, but if it is gigabit, it should work perfectly

Second shield pro. I have one attached to the back of all our TVs and wired in, and keep our smart TVs offline. The shield also has upscaling that is unsurpassed by the fancy TV manufacturers because Nvidia is a video and AI processing company and know what they're doing.

You don't need a gigabit port. You need one with a good network stack and ethernet at least 100Mbps, and at any given time you'll use 20-30% of that bandwidth with a smart TV streaming 4K.

You might also like the new Google TV device sold directly by Google. EDIT oops you said you had it. Consider getting the adapter.

The Wi-Fi is faster but it will not support your higher bandwidth needs. Unless you run a perf test .

We are limited by what that C- usb port is set to in he firmware also. I hope that they will open up the speeds for future use in maybe an update. But the unit is really nice. I have been using MI box -s 's up to now and they are rock solid but starting show their age with all the new local content i have. :)
