Just installed my Chromecast with Google TV. Quick question: why is my “For you” section still displaying Disney+ movies? I do not have a subscription and I have deleted it from “Your apps” (visible in my first picture). Any way to get it to stop suggesting movies and shows on apps I don’t have?

Welcome to advertising. It displays stuff that companies pay google for, not what you have or what you want to see

F ads. That's the reason.

Did you disable Disney+ under your services? It's at the bottom of the home screen and under your account in settings.

You're not the only one seeing that and there's no fix.

Google doesn't seem to be aware that the problems exists. That is to say, if you contact support and ask them about it, they will say that it's not supposed to do that.

But it might be intentional and they just don't want to admit it.

There’s a display setting called “Apps Only” or something similar that will just show installed apps and eliminates the For You section.

You’ll still get the banner ads though.

Yet another reason to own a shield, they don't force this on your device you paid for.

Exactly why I run ATV Launcher Pro on my other devices.

Simplemente pon el modo solo aplicaciones es más fácil no crees ?
