Hi there!
I’m a very happy user of the google TV. I’ve been playing stadia and love it, there is however a very limited selection of games.
I’ve tried to install GeForce Now and play some games and it also works very nice.
I’m however now using a PS4 controller which introducties a couple of annoyances:
- I need to pair the controller every time i want to play a game
- I need to hard disconnect the controller every time i finish the game otherwise it just keeps burning battery until its empty
- it’s ugly AF.
Therefore I’d like to purchase a stadia controller. But i was wondering:
- Am i able to use the stadia controller outside the stadia app ?
- Is pairing the controller a single time sufficient and does it invoke a sleep function to preserve battery ?
- Does the stadia controller work with GeForce now ?
Thank you all for the help!
Kind Regards.
EDIT: The reason i’m asking this is because the ps (and xbox) controller work via Bluetooth, the stadia contorller works via WiFi, i don’t know if this causes any (driver) issues ?
Use a Xbox controller works no problem also gamepass has a good deal on at the min and works on the Chromecast too but needs sideload
