to install the disney+ on my tv. The apk is working ok but only on SD.
Is there anything that I can do to get at least 1080p?

What TV? There's a known issue with PhilipsTV's and not playing 4k on D+
What is the MiBox display settings set to. The Mibox must be reporting as sd to the D+ app.
Big problems with Disney+ app doesn't surprise me really.
Install kodi disney plus add on. There is the option to force higher resolution streams.

the downside of cheap chinese android boxes is that they are not DRM L1 certified, if the provider of the content you are trying to watch doesn't allow HD on L3 devices there isn't much you can do
