Guys, I need Android for my TV so I decided to go for Mi Stick. Are there any issues with it that I should now before buying and what about your experience using it? Is there any heating?

Spend the $15 extra and get a Chromecast w/ GTV
Don't buy, mine broke down after 3 months of rebooting and other problems. Got a Google TV and am happy with that.
It is slow. Better get a mi box s instead. I already sold mine and got a mi box.
You will experience video and sound are not in sync at times due to lag. Loading times are longer too. Just plain navigation is also slow.
Also there are times when you wont be able to control the volume when you are in your streaming apps like netflix and prime.
It’s frustratingly slow
Nvidia shield is my best buy ever. And do not buy the mi stick, it's slow and laggy. Spare yourself the headache
The best of the best is the shield. It's pricey.
The Mibox is good. I had it for a couple years and it's been solid.
The Chromecast with Google TV is also good.
Get an nVidia Shield Pro.. Skip all bs and go for the best Android TV device on the market. Save yourself all headaches and eventually you’ll get one anyway. I’ve had every streaming device out there and I should have started and ended with the Shield Pro!
If you jump into this frying pan make sure you go to develper settings and make it close background apps. I set mine up to two apps and now its usable. I got mine because in my region it was cheap, the mi box was two times more expensive and for streaming YouTube, Nexflix and Chromecasting its capable, it wont go beyond 1080p. It runs hot, so keep it away from childs reach. I dont dare do any kind of gaming on it but I can adventure it won't be pleasurable. It does the bare minimum but if you don't ask for anything else out of it keeping it from storing background apps in its tiny memory will do the trick.
Use a cooling fan with it.
Though if you could spend a few more bucks, you'd be better off with the CC with Google TV.
I used the MiBox for a while it's not bad but it's not as fast as the shield after found one on sale I swapped it out and have never looked back.
Mine runs fine for what i do, netflix disney+, pluto tv and kodi, plus i sometimes chromecast, thats why i didnt buy the firestick
I've had mine for several weeks now, during setup I applied the waiting update. I've had no issues, it's fast enough for me, but note I do not play games ever.
DO NOT BUY, I REPEAT DO NOT BUY!!! Just returned this piece of s*** stick as it's prob the worst on the market, freezes and restarts all the time, at one point it bootlooped for 15 mins straight. It has 1gb ram which is the main prob it's slow and laggy, If you want a budget stick go for the new Google TV Chromecast - no issues
I'll suggest FireTV Stick 4k
Bought one 2 mints ago, no issue whatsoever this far, ofc it's highly limited with it's single GB of RAM, and if you try to switch apps too fast it may freeze but it's bound to it's limitations. If you don't push it, it will work great.
I’ve heard that it’s nowhere near as good as the mi box
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, buy a Mi Stick.
You'll regret, and nothing sucks like FOMO, owning something you regret buying, knowing you should have got a better choice. Heating will inevitably be an issue, as they've stuffed the basically the same components as a Mi Box S (shy 1gb) into a much smaller frame, so you'll suffer sluggishness and sometimes freezing.
If you can get an Nvidia Shield, which is the best you can get.
If that's out of your price range, the new Chromecast is also worth looking into.
And if that's not an option then, speaking from experience, the Mi Box S is a solid choice.
But for the love of God, DO NOT GET A MI STICK
