What are we stuck in a time loop?
My 2013 LG 55" TV runs "Google TV", which was abandoned after a few years and replaced with Android TV.
TV still works great with a 2015 Nvidia Shield.
Netflix just removed itself from google tv integration.
Maybe they should make the interface work properly on the google tv with chromecast first before putting it out on Sony products.
Continue watching is an absolute mess, forcing you to go into each app individually as your watch progress is rarely updated if ever, and most apps show nothing in this section, kind of crazy when most of the interface is built around this premise.
Well. Hope nobody wanted to use the original tv stand/legs AND a sound bar underneath
Of course Sony did. And I expect Sony movies have prominent position on new Google TV home screen aka patch wall of ads...
Does it still have the app store?
