Tvheadend integration with android tv

I have purchased an android tv that I wish to use with a tvheadend server. I do not want to use kodi and know there are apps that require you to pay to get the full set of features. So is there any completely free app to integrate tvheadend into the android tv experience (e.g. live channel) with all the features (e.g. recording, guide and time shifting)

I am currently not aware of any free app for TVH with all the features that is still maintained.

I use PVR Live works perfect with Google Live Channels and only has to be paid once (Plus Version) for all features.

German app and I'm living in Germany, but I suppose it's also available in English language.

It's a paid app but has a free trial to check it out.
