I bought a Sony Bravia tv from the official sony store in China, it has none of the gapps, what do I do?. Can I install different software on the TV that's not the Chinese one? Can I just download and install APK and there is an app I want that I am not sure that is on apkpure or other sites so can I just download the APK of the Google Play services and Play Store??
I wouldn't use anything "smart" in China...
Seems no way for now, Sony has restricted its TVs sold in China to a limited firmware, you cannot install firmwares from other regions even they share the same hardware.
Once upon a time I came across a forum where people had succeeded in rooting Bravia android TV and installing gapps. I think this is the only way to install google play service, but I don't think you should go this way....
