Absolutely......... That is the only way to watch those old TV shows.
You will need a hdmi input on the TV. A set that old won't have one but there are converter/adapters.
I'm going to say no becasue I need you to put that dinosaur out of commission. The savings in electricity cost alone could pay for a new one in 6 months.
