Hey gang, So I just bought a new Sony Bravia android tv and set up surfshark. We were trying to watch Aussie Netflix and it kept popping up that we couldn’t watch titles since they weren’t available in our area, despite having our vpn set to Australia and restarting the Netflix app. Can someone give me some tips to try and get this thing to work? I’m super bad with tech so anything would be helpful and thanks in advance!!!
It usually boils down to the configuration you're using in surfshark.
Typically the dns and protocols you use.
I'd suggest reaching out to Surfshark support for more help. They managed to help improve my experience while connecting to different region catalogs in several applications.
Note im using Shield and not the native bravia android tv

Try disconnecting/reconnecting until you find a server that works with netflix (that is, IF you find one). Tip: install analiti and run a detailed speedtest on it each time you connect to a server in surfshark, take note of the server host name and use the one that works with netflix by connecting/reconnecting until you find it. Selecting a country doesn't always connect to the same hosts/servers so you have to do it repeatedly until you find a good one.

Never used surfshark, but have to frequently change servers in my vpn to find one that works with netflix.
