How can I enable stereo audio on my STB?

My STB is connected to TV via HDMI, and it is mono audio, I cant seem to find any option to enable stereo audio.

I've a 2.1 channel system, and when I did a L-R test, when L is supposed to play, both L and R plays audio, but when R is supposed to play, i get no audio.

Any option or setting that I'm missing? Any help appreciated.

STB model: N9106H_B (pretty sure its unpopular, but its certified; the androidtv website mentions it)

for me thats not mono, but defect stereo.

did you try another hdmi port? did you try another hdmi cable? it is a really odd problem

you say you have 2.1 audio..so you have also a soundbar or some sort?
