I want to cast videos on my Nvidia Shield TV from my phone, but I want the audio coming through my headphone instead of my TV. Does anyone knows how to do that? I tried connecting the headphones to my Xbox controller instead as well, but it's still not working. I use the Xbox controller as a remote controller for my Android TV device. I do not have a bluetooth headphone.
Some possibilities are:
Like the other poster said, plug them into your TV.
Get a 2017 Shield controller and plug them into that.
Get a 2015 Shield remote and plug them into that.
Get a Bluetooth receiver and plug them into that.
Get Bluetooth headphones.
