I tried this with my hisense tv because my tcl  has a small remote with no numbers since they connect via Bluetooth but my hisense doesn’t recognize my tcl remote

Aren't you going to brick the TV? I mean, it's like putting an update for a Samsung galaxy into LG phone, don't know man, it sounds pretty risky
