VPN apps and Google Chromecast with Google TV?

Has anyone checked if there are VPN apps on the app store of the new chromecast wirh Google TV? Thanks!

Most VPN providers have apps in the play store, I use Nord and Surfshark but others are available, at least all the major ones.

Do you have to set up VPN on the router, or can you just install VPN app on CCWGTV and use like so?
