I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to expand the storage and use peripherals via a USB class 3 adapter but to no avail - Yes I have turned on developer mode and allowed USB access, but I can't even get the Ethernet to work, am I missing something? Pic it the last (of a long line) adapter I bought.
I can personally recommend this Hub as working with ethernet and webcam.

The original USB-C power brick even seems to be enough, but others have said a more powerful one may be necessary.
