When pairing bluetooth headphones/speakers to a Google TV, will it continue to send sound to the TV speakers? My father's hearing isn't the best and he needs to use headphones to hear the TV. However, other people in the room still want to listen to the TV.
If I pair headphones with his Google TV, will it continue to play audio through the TV speakers as well?
I seem to recall reading somewhere that it does not. If you use a BT speaker the audio won't work through HDMI as well. What I did, though, is get a Bluetooth transmitter and connected that to my receiver's line out. I use the Avantree Oasis. It's a little extra work to set up but it would give you the best of both worlds.
