Anyone with the Chromecast with Google TV have a remote finder suggestion? I have a 5 year old that is pretty good about taking care of the remote but the 1.5 year old is not. It's a small remote that is hard to find at times. I have a Tile for my keys but the remote seems to be too small for the Tile Sticker. I love the remote finder feature in the Roku Ultra I have.
I have another device that has a tiny remote, and I designed and 3d printed a 1 foot long case for it in bright-ass yellow. It has made our family much happier.
Nvidia shield tv remote has this feature, I consider it essential. You could use the remote with a Google TV but you'd be missing the button on the shield that makes it beep. There may be a workaround..
I just want something that would beep if I pushed a button. It doesn't have to connect to my phone. The Roku system is perfect on the ultra because there is a button to push on the Roku and then the remote beeps.
I've just recently gotten one of these myself and I've thought about this. The Tile suggestion is a great one.
