MiBox S with Ethernet Cable (LAN). Does the chromecast still work through my phone?

I know there are some question about this but I don't find the right answer that chromecast will work if I use ethernet connection. Because I want to make sure before I buy the ethernet adapter, I need that because my 100 mbps speed became 30 mbps in mibox s wireless connection

Yes, because there both are on the same LAN.

It doesn't matter if the devices are wired or not.

Your phone is still on wifi, so which is the real limiting factor?
