My Alexa would wake up the television. I had to disable Alexa communicating with the TV and it stopped.
The ‘TV’ app two hours ago was her turning the tele from chromecast to live TV and she didn’t think anything of it/take a picture - she thought there was a username on the chromecast screen too. We’ve checked our wifi and no unknown devices are connected. Could it be the bonus app doing something weird in the daytime? And is it normal for the Google play store app to have activity/open itself when the TV is in standby mode during the day?
My Nvidia Shield woke itself up 2 nights ago too, screensaver didn't come on either so static text on the screen for hours... excellent.
My sony 950g tv turns on by itself all the time but I blame it in Siri/HomeKit
