Chromecast with Youtube TV often asks "are you still watching" when I first turn on my TV. Yes, the TV had been turned for a few hours, off using the Chromcast remote. Not a big deal to answer "yes" but why??

LOL, I stream youtube videos for my cats at night. 7 hours of birds eating seeds.
in the morning it asks "are you still watching?".
I tell google to ask the cat, I don't care about birds eating seeds!
It should do that on every platform, the streams time out at 4 hours of inactivity, If you just turned off the TV without killing the stream it would still be streaming.
My wife casts Netflix to our regular chromecast from her phone and when she goes to sleep she just turns the TV off with its remote. This doesn't actually stop Netflix so it keeps playing while the TV is off until that message appears. Then it's sitting on there next time the TV is turned on.
You mentioned turning off the TV with the chromecast remote so this might not be your situation. It might be a similar situation though where the app thinks its been on the whole time the TV was off or if it started auto playing episodes or previews.
