I'm looking to get an android box for my TV have anyone had experience whit the X96 brand?

by RandomGogo

As I sayd in the title I'm looking for an TV box and those whit x96 on the top are quite avaliable in my region and on a good price but are they any good?

I watched some reviews but they give basicly just some performance stats and nothing for day to day usability other than the remote is bad

From what I have read there seems to be two versions on each box one whit android TV and the other whit Android AOSP what the difference betwin them?

I had one and I had to throw it away. It is useless box and total waste of money. The remote is useless, the box freezes alot and it does not have native apps built for it as it is not based on actual Google TV/android tv. I bought Xiaomi Mi Box s and it works perfect but I wish its remote did not make clicking noise. If you are after legal streaming then get firestick or the new Google TV.

Maybe be a little more specific on what you would use it for. Gaming, streaming legal content (netflix, disney+...) streaming over kodi etc
