Mi TV Stick audio delay (100-200ms)

It seems that there is a general audio delay (audio is late by about 100-200ms) that impacts all apps. It is mostly apparent when looking at lip sync. I am kind of sensitive to these kind of things so I noticed it immediately and has bothered me ever since. I was hoping for an update that fixes is but there is none so far.

I have no audio delay on any other devices that I have. I can correct it in Kodi - it has a feature for it -, but there is no option for it in Netflix, Youtube, and other apps that I tried. I wonder if others have this issue, too.

Yes, noticed it since day 1, For me its not a big issue, I try to ignore it.

On a slightly different issue, anyone noticed some kind of low FPS during football/soccer matches?

What type of sound did you setup to use? I notice my tv does the same with surround 5.1 it's like it can't process it fast enough with curse the delay.

I also have delay issues with a MiBoxS 4k,

When i was using Mibox -> TV -> hdmi arc to soundbar I had to adjust to 300ms in Kodi (audio was late)

Now im using Mibox -> TV (muted), Mibox -> 3.5mm to speakers. In this case i believe audio is slightly early by 50 or 100 ms

Same thing happens to mine... that’s a very annoying bug! It’s crazy that xiaomi doesn’t even try to fix this audio delay! In their own forum’s there’s some people reporting this issue at least since 2017... I’m considering to return mine because of this.

same here and it's about 250ms in Kodi it's fine because you can tweak delay but not in Netflix and can't watch it because of this also in my case it's not impact all apps for example smartyoutubetv or my local IPTV is ok and I already tried every possible tweak (HDMI ports, TV settings, stick settings, developer mode etc etc) with no result :(

Verry interesting I also use Mi TV stick and I don't have this issue no matter which app im using even with BT speaker.

Factory reset does resolve this problem?
