I bought a Mi 4k box yesterday to stream football on my TV but whenever I cast my screen from my laptop in 1080 quality, the quality on my TV looks like 240p and lags help so I tried streaming it thru Facebook watch but the live stream quality still looks the same like 240p

You are always better off trying to play the stream directly on your MiBox. Isn't that an option in your case?

Are you in the US? Why would you not have purchased the google chromecast tv?

That sounds like a WiFI speed issue. Can you do a speed test from the Mi box ? If it's slow as I expect it to be make sure to use 5Ghz or use Ethernet if possible.
