Hi, my CCwGTV is dropping Wifi about once every hour on average or so. This REALLY sucks while in the middle of a Stadia game most of all... but I have confirmed it is also happening outside of stadia or any app really. I've seen it happen while idle on the menu.
Any others encounter this? Any tips? The GTV is about 2 feet from the wifi router on 5ghz
Yep . Watching youtube , vidor paused multiple times last few days.
Not dropping, but I had some issues with game streaming that were completely solved with Ethernet (I opted for a third party USB-C hub with Gigabit Ethernet, was even cheaper than the official adapter and have plugged even a DAC for headphones).
Mine hasn't yet dropped connection while watching something, but I have to manually reconnect almost every time I power it up. It's very annoying, and I don't know why Google isn't pushing out updates to address the many bugs people are reporting.
That's interesting. My nvidia shield started doing this so I hardwired it into the network. My other 4k screen with Android TV started doing it too, but I couldn't work out why. So I bought the new Google TV dongle when it launched and haven't lost a wifi connection since.
