AndroidTV media player app that marks files ive watched as completed

by Proflol

Hello. I acquired an older NAS from a friend and wanted to set it up as a media server. I explored installing Plex on it but unfortunately the NAS is too old and slow to run it (ReadyNAS NV+ V1). the smart tv isnt much better, it is a discount hisense i got last black friday.

VLC player runs the media files fine enough. I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a lightweight media player that will mark files as completed so i can keep track of what ive watched.

i know i can install plex on a local machine but ideally i want to be able to play media on my nas without needing another pc to be on

preferably it would support file types like mkv, avi, and mpeg

MX player does this, so does Archos. Take your pick.
