Mi Box S 4K - Interface Question

Purchased this today and am expecting it to arrive soon:

Just wondering what the interface is like or if there is considerable lag on this hardware? Will be using the latest version of AndroidTV for Netflix, Plex, and SteamLink. It doesn't seem like most buttery smooth interface at 60fps based on videos I have watched but maybe that has been fixed now with a certain version of AndroidTV in 2020?

It's running Android TV 9, so there were some improvements made. It's not a high-end device so you shouldn't expect everything to be perfect, but it will likely be fine for your needs providing you don't push it too hard.
