i have read alot of negative reviews about the JBL Link Bar. Mostly concerning speed and Speakergroups. Did those issues get patched over time? And if yes, would you consider it worth its price now?

i have read alot of negative reviews about the JBL Link Bar. Mostly concerning speed and Speakergroups. Did those issues get patched over time? And if yes, would you consider it worth its price now?
I had it. It was the worst. Lots of potential but underwhelmed across all dimensions. See my post history for the details. I ditched it and got a Yamaha sound bar and an Nvidia shield.
I've been using it since release. The performance is still very meh but acceptable if you're only doing media imo. Speaker groups do work now (and I use it regularly). Google Assistant is considerably faster than it was when I first used it.
I like the sound bar a lot, actually. It has some issues here and there but overall I like the sound quality, the apps and assistant launch fast enough, and the additional HDMI ports were a MUST for me.
There was a recent firmware update which apparently fixed some speed issues and added Prime Video support but the speaker group problem is or was plaguing every Android TV device, not only the Link Bar, you'll gonna have to look up YouTube videos about this update because nobody here has shared anything about it.
