Box Supporting USB Hub

by whynotnormal

Any Android Tv Boxes that support USB Hubs? I'm looking for a simple Kodi interface that can support my 4 2TB self powered USB Hub enclosure; no streaming or internet connection required. This will be used on a boat at sea; ideally would have a remote for ease of use as well. Open to all advice and suggestions

You have to be really careful with Android TV devices and USB storage because a bunch of them do not support NTFS formatted hard drives. And I would not bother with extra complications like a USB Hub.

Get something with multiple USB ports on it already to save with the stuffing around and greatly reduce the extra points of possible failure.

Go straight to the source Forum for Kodi devices and also use a G20S or G30S Plug n Play wireless remote.

The best bang for the buck is the snappy S905X3 chipset X96 Air and then run CoreELEC Kodi on it (easy done) from a microSDHC card:

That CE Kodi combo will play anything you throw at it better vs any Android Kodi device.

Devices running CoreELEC boot straight into snappy Kodi from power on. I use one as my everyday - throw anything at it - local media content player.

Most just will if not all of them.

Hi there!

We do not support non-certified Android TV devices on our subreddit. A full list of certified devices can be found at androidtv-guide.com.

These posts will be removed and users will be helpfully redirected to a list of certified Android TV devices we can recommend - there's lots of them! We will also allow users to ask questions etc about these devices if they wish.

u/latinriky78 can provide you with that list and answer any questions you may have.
