Just purchased 2 of the new Chromecast with Google TV's and I'm wondering how other people with families have "worked around" the lack of multiple user/profile support. My wife and I have 4 kids (all setup in Family Link, which has helped with previous Android/Chrome OS devices) and I really don't want recommendations for what my kids watch showing up for me (and vice versa). Also, I would still like to be able to install my paid for apps/games onto the TV.
95% of my families usage will be YouTube, YouTube TV, Netflix, and random Android games from the Play Store, but other than that, I bought a couple USB-C hubs hopping to run some emulators to play my old games and also run Stadia/Geforce Now/Steam Link with mouse/keyboard, but I was hoping to be able to keep the kids out of the non age appropriate stuff.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
If your kids will be watching on their own device you can make them their own Google account to log in to one device. That will keep suggestions segregated to each device.
